Coaches will need to register with AHA. In order to register, you will need to have a USA Hockey number for the 2019-2020 season. Then click on the "Register" button below.
2019-2020 Coaches Registration
To apply as a coach in the AHA, please register with AHA through the above registration link. You will also need to complete and submit the below application and waiver forms to the Coach-in-Chief , David Schein at email@example.com or Registrar, Kristin Balboni at AmherstHockeyRegistrar@gmail.com. In addition, you will need to fill out the online CORI and background check.
1st Time Coaches: In addition to the above, you will need to complete the USA Hockey SafeSport training and the USA Hockey online module for the age group you are coaching before being involved in any team activities. You must also obtain CEP Level 1 certification by 12/31/19.
Returning Coaches: In addition to the above, you may need to complete USA Hockey SafeSport training (every 2 years), complete the USA Hockey online module for the age group you are coaching (every time you change age groups) and obtain the next level of CEP certification.
