Registration is a two-step process:
1. All skaters are required to register online with USA Hockey for the upcoming season in order to skate with Amherst Hockey Association. You can register at http://www.usahockeyregistration.com. This process takes about 5 minutes. Cost is $48 for anyone who will be 7 years old by December 31 (free for kids 6 and under).
2. All AHA skaters are required to register online on our website, you can access the registration through the link for each program below, or navigate the Registration tab at the top. You will need to provide the USA hockey number obtained from the first step (Please allow a few minutes for our system to validate your number before you can complete the process).
Important Note: If you have been in our Learn To Skate or Learn To Play program and have been considering our travel program, we suggest you talk with our coaches/volunteers about the travel program. It is much easier for you to register for and begin with the travel program and move back to the in-house programs than it is for you to move from the in-house programs to travel later in the year (since Mite travel evaluations are conducted in September/October).
* For late registrations after the close of registration links, please contact our VP of Operations, Tom Beckwith, at
to discuss the possibility of joining one of our teams.
Goalies for Peewees and Bantams receive a discount!
All travel players are required to purchase a white and blue jersey for travel. The price of the travel jerseys is not included in the registration fee and parents will receive information on when/how to purchase them. Players will be required to own red, white and blue striped socks for all AHA games which the association will provide as part of the registration cost. Red pants and a white helmet are preferred.
For any registration questions, please contact our Registrar, Nicole Heroux, at
Please note: The Amherst Hockey Association is a volunteer organization that is partially funded by membership fundraising activities. All players are required to participate in fundraising activities to benefit the AHA. If you have any questions about fundraising obligations, please ask an AHA volunteer or contact our VP of Association Activities, Julie O'Brien at
