Amherst Hockey Association will be participating in several Fundraising Activities this season.  Our fundraising efforts help us to control association fees and allow us to defer other organizational costs incurred throughout the course of a season.  The AHA Fundraising Director has already made significant strides in organizing the Fundraising activities for this season, please keep an eye on the website for more details as the season progresses.

  • Website Advertising and Team Sponsorship (click here for more details): Available all season. Please let us know if there is a business that you think should be contacted or direct them to the website.

  • Annual Calendar Raffle:  Calendars will be on sale from mid November well into December.  Winners will be posted every day in January. Good luck to all! Each player will be responsible for selling a minimum of 20 calendars. There are extra incentives for those players who sell more than 20 calendars. There will be a $150.00 cash prize for the top calendar seller and $75.00 cash prize for the second runner up.

  • Used Equipment Gear Sale: AHA will hold two used equipment gear sales during the two Try Hockey for Free events (early October and early November). All items are sold by donation and all proceeds go directly to AHA. New helmets are also available. AHA collects used hockey gear throughout the year - donations can be dropped off at the UPS store (6 University Drive, Suite 206, Amherst).   • Hockey Apparel Sale: Every year, AHA gear (hoodies, t-shirts, hats, jackets, etc.) can be purchased online in the fall. The vendor will be at the Mullins center sometime in the fall to show selection and sizing. A portion of all sales go to AHA. Contact Family Apparel CoordinatorStella Sexton at for information.

  • Amherst College Hockey Coffee Table: AHA families are asked to volunteer to staff the concession/coffee table at Amherst College Hockey games. Families receive $25 in credit towards registration for each time they volunteer. All sales profits go directly to AHA. Contact VP of Association Activities, Julie O'Brien at for information.

  • AHA Nights: There will be several AHA-sponsored nights throughout the season held at local restaurants. A percentage of the purchases during these nights go directly to AHA.
